THE CHALLENGE
Designing a beautifully elegant booklet for the parent company Expect Excellence, while staying true to the individual brand identity of each separate company represented in Expect Excellence's company portfolio. One of the more challenging aspects of the design was creating a layout that accommodated large and small amounts of copy and data depending on each company. Because this was a print collateral project, I was constricted to using a set number of pages to achieve the desired binding from our print vendor.THE SOLUTION
To design a unified layout design I grouped copy into sections titled, 'What We Do,' 'Projects', and 'Customer lists,' and created unifying graphics that incorporated a splash of the individual companies' main logo color. Reliance Electric is the only company that deviated from this layout formula as it is the most developed company with a large amount of copy and data. Adding the "Safety Page" insured that the booklet could be printed with the desired binding while allotting a full page spread to Reliance Electric. Reliance Electric Full Page Spread
